Features

The Gateway is a remote monitoring device that logs data from remote machines and delivers it to the software. This telemetry system rapidly monitors any remote assets. Key elements include: -

Serial Interface - your remote equipment interfaces to a serial port using an AT-command set.
Real Time Clock - an onboard Real-Time-Clock (RTC) maintains time for scheduling local logging events and initiating communication.
Datalogging - log records into the gateway's non-volatile memory using serial port commands.
Alarm processing - the module checks for alarm conditions as each record is added and provides reports alarm events.
Scheduling - the wireless Gateway manages scheduling for local datalogging and database communication.
Database synchronisation - initiates data transfer with the central management application (upload data & download configuration).
Centrally configured - the remote monitoring device is centrally configured.
Local status reporting - the remote machine simply requests status information over the serial command line.
Internet protocols - the remote monitoring device supports TCP/IP protocols for communication with the central management application.
GSM / GPRS interface - provides the wireless modem interface to the GSM/GPRS network (and others).
