Comtech placed within the Deloitte Northern Region Technology Fast 50 Awards

Comtech Holdings Limited has recently been placed within the Deloitte Northern Region Technology Fast 50 Awards for the second year in succession. The Deloitte Fast 50 Awards are sponsored on a national basis by the London Stock Exchange and seek to recognise and promote growing technology companies in the UK. The awards for 2004 measured the sales growth delivered over the years 1999 to 2003. Comtech's growth of over 180% in this period secured its place in the list of winners for 2004.

Commenting on the award, Barry Lowe, the Joint Managing Director of Comtech, said:

Comtech are delighted with our Fast 50 Award for 2004 and would like to again record our thanks to Deloitte and the sponsors of the Awards. Being awarded this accolade for two years in succession, during what has been a difficult trading period for most technology companies, does reflect that Comtech continues to make significant progress. We are still at the very early stages of our target market (of machine-to-machine communications) and are confident that the people, customers and products that we already have in place will ensure that we fully capitalise on the huge potential ahead of us. Whilst remaining focused on our long term plans, it is however always pleasing to be recognised for the achievements that are delivered along the way. We are therefore delighted to be again featured within the Deloitte Fast 50 and look forward to making it a hat trick of appearances next year!
