Machines, devices and equipment are increasingly networked with provision for Ethernet as a standard means of obtaining data. However, it is not easy to gain access to the data when the equipment is deployed at a remote location
Networking problems
Companies do not like equipment being placed on their networks that they are not familiar with or have complete control over. Where concessions are given to utilising the end customers network, there is a reliance on the network owner to aid installation and maintenance access.
Remote Access Solution
Create an independant network at the remote site using the µWEBox eRouter PSTN router. This removes the dependancy of 3rd party networks and enables remote access to Ethernet equipment via the public network.
Installation is easy without the need to consult with the end customers IT department. Communicate with Ethernet devices on remote networks and at isolated remote sites. Alternatively, our GSM GPRS router can be used in remote mobile locations
Comtechs dial up router can be used to gain access to a single item of equipment, but is also ideal for small network. Central users can either Dial in to the equipment or enable it to Dial out through the flexible low cost router operational modes.
