GPRS modem with data logger and Email onboard offers remote monitoring - a simple wireless radio telemetry solution
The µWEB Lite GSM/GPRS modem family supports an on-board datalogger memory and a can transfer data across the GSM/GPRS network using email.
Available as a GSM / GPRS module for OEM integration into equipment or enclosed as a rugged GSM / GPRS modem box, they enable you to create a simple wireless data logger for temperature, humidity, GPS and other applications.
- Log data into the EEprom memory via a serial port
- Mail collected data as an attachment over the GSM/GPRS network
Serial interface
The local equipment communicates with the GPRS modem through the host serial port using extended AT-commands: -
- Configures the modem
- Information can be stored in the body of the Email, or
- Stored in a separate data log, which can be mailed as an attachment.
Multiple recipients and authentication
- Mail can be sent to single and multiple recipients
- SMTP authentication is supported identify the source device.
Pre-configure the settings
- A configuration utility is available to configure and program the settings on the GPRS modem from a PC.
