Embedded 56k modem for monitoring remote machines over PSTN networks .
The OEM-MODEM-56C2 56K modem provides remote access to machines via fixed line PSTN networks. This family offers a range of speeds and standards from 300bps (V.21) through to 56Kbps (V.90) and is footprint compatible with Comtech's wireless modems.
About the OEM-MODEM-56C2
Host interface - TTL serial port with AT command call control
Modem standards - V.90, V.34, V.32bis and V.22bis/V.22/V.21/Bell 103/Bell212
Caller ID - onhook Calling Line Identification (CLI) to indentify the calling party.
Error Correction - V.42 error correction for increase resilience over the network
Data compression - V.42bis data compression to increase throughput over the network
Parallel phone detection - onhook and offhook parallel phone detection where the modem connection is shared with other equipment.
Where wireless functionality are required such as GSM or GPRS, Comtech recommend the µWEB Lite GSM / GPRS module.
