Administration

Login to extralive from a standard PC browser over any Internet connection and gain access to different levels within the digital signage software dependant on security settings. The system administrator is able to set up configuration, customers, users, contacts and signs within the system, with all user activity logged for audit purposes.

Content management

Summary reports and menu options provide intuitive guidance around the software backed up by help tool-tips. Media items are uploaded to a gallery, where users can allocate tags, types and descriptions to individual items. They can be assigned directly to playlists or previewed within the digital signage software.

Creating playlists and schedules

Multiple playlists can be created and scheduled to play at different times of the day or week in order to target audiences at specific moments in time. Default content can be played outside scheduled promotions and various transition effects can be assigned between each playlist item. Historical playlists that have been sent to signs are logged for future audit purposes.

Deploying campaigns

Intuitive site/sign searches based on user defined criteria enable individual or groups of signs/sites to be selected. Schedules and playlists are assigned and sent immediately to selected sites/signs … at the click of a button. Alarm contacts are automatically notified in the unlikely event that remote signs do not receive messages e.g. where the sign has been turned off!

Logging and reporting

extralive digital signage software reports are provided to manage the lifecycle of the remote displays including installation, maintenance and operation. Each remote sign logs power-on/off times and logs media “proof of play” for subsequent audit reporting. Reports are generated on an exception-basis so that users can easily manage and respond to problematic conditions.
